Basic information on data processing

We collect, process and use users' personal data only in compliance with the relevant data protection regulations. This means that user data will only be used if required by law or if consent has been given.

We take organizational, contractual and technical security measures to ensure that the provisions of the data protection laws are complied with and to protect the data managed by us against accidental or intentional manipulation, loss, destruction or access by unauthorized persons.

Collection, processing and use of personal data

The personal data of users is used for the performance of our services and user services, as well as to ensure effective customer service. When contacting us, the information is stored for the purpose of processing the request and in the event that follow-up questions arise. We may also use the data to send newsletters or other advertising material, provided that the recipient has given us consent to do so. We forward the data to third parties if this is necessary for service fulfillment or billing purposes or otherwise to fulfill our contractual obligations to the users. The basis for data processing is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. c GSGVO, which permits processing to fulfill a legal obligation.

Sending information by e-mail and newsletter

If we send e-mail messages containing advertising information about us and our services, this will only be done with the express consent of the recipient. Users can object to receiving e-mail messages at any time.

If you would like to receive the newsletter, we require a valid e-mail address from you as well as information that allows us to verify that you are the owner of the e-mail address provided or that the owner agrees to receive the newsletter. No further data is collected. This data is only used for sending the newsletter and is not passed on to third parties.

Before the newsletter is sent, the email owner will receive a confirmation email in which they must confirm their newsletter registration. Unconfirmed registrations are automatically deleted within four weeks at the latest. We may refrain from sending a confirmation e-mail if the e-mail address has already been confirmed.

You can revoke your consent to the storage of the data, the e-mail address and its use for sending the newsletter at any time. As part of the registration process, we store the time of registration and confirmation and the user's IP address. We are legally obliged to log the registrations in order to be able to prove proper registration.

Collection of access data

We collect data about every access to the server on which this website is located (so-called server log files). The access data includes the name of the website accessed, file, date and time of access, amount of data transferred, notification of successful access, browser type and version, the user's operating system, referrer URL (the previously visited page), IP address and the requesting provider.

We use the log data without allocation to the person of the user or other profiling in accordance with the legal provisions only for statistical evaluations for the purpose of operation, security and optimization of the offer. However, we reserve the right to check the log data retrospectively if there is a justified suspicion of unlawful use based on concrete evidence.

Cookies

Cookies are pieces of information that are transferred from our web server or third-party web servers to the user's web browser and stored there for later retrieval. Users are informed about the use of cookies in the context of pseudonymous reach measurement as part of this privacy policy.

It is also possible to view our website without cookies. If users do not want cookies to be stored on their computer, they are asked to deactivate the corresponding option in the system settings of their browser. Stored cookies can be deleted in the system settings of the browser. The exclusion of cookies can lead to functional restrictions of this offer.

Information, revocation, changes, corrections and updates

Users have the right, upon request and free of charge, to receive information about the personal data we have stored about them. The contact details can be found in the legal notice.

In addition, users have the right to correct incorrect data, revoke consent, block and delete their personal data, provided that this does not conflict with any statutory retention requirements.

We reserve the right to amend the privacy policy in order to adapt it to changed legal situations or in the event of changes to the service and data processing.

Users are therefore requested to inform themselves regularly about its content.
